Artem Afian is a first-wave crypto lawyer and a legal tech entrepreneur. His law firm, Juscutum, started officially accepting bitcoin in 2013. Afian is a well-recognized lawyer practicing in Ukraine and a member of the World IT Lawyers Association. He has helped in drafting cryptocurrency legislation for Ukraine and Kazakhstan. In 2017, he legally supported one of the first official deals for buying real estate for cryptocurrency. In 2021, together with Hiveon, he started a project called Delegate (short for Decentralized Legal Gateway) that will become a legal infrastructure for Web3 projects. As a legal futurist, Afian specializes in legally performing things that for most people, are hard to imagine.
