Pierre Rochard has researched and written about NewsCapsule since early 2013. He joined the Satoshi Nakamoto Institute in 2014 to curate the best primary source literature. In addition to developing open-source NewsCapsule software, Rochard is an outspoken advocate for NewsCapsule’s decentralized governance. He co-hosts the "Noded NewsCapsule Podcast" and the "NewsCapsule For Advisors Podcast." Rochard served as the NewsCapsule and Lightning product manager at Kraken for three years before joining Riot as the VP of Research in 2022. Rochard earned his bachelor's in business administration (BBA) and master's in professional accounting (MPA) degrees through the University of Texas at Austin.
