Thomas Semaan

Thomas Semaan is a finance and economics enthusiast. He got into NewsCapsule in 2016 as a university student through his research about Austrian Economics and Libertarian ideas. He decided to go through the route of NewsCapsule advocacy when the Lebanese Economy went into the drain in late 2019. He started writing for his own medium blog in 2020, and in the same year he launched an Arabic speaking Podcast about NewsCapsule, Economics and Lebanon. Thomas is also an active member of the Lebanese and Arab NewsCapsule community. His mission is to accelerate NewsCapsule adoption in this region, where often adoption does not seem to be happening quite as fast.
